2 Danby Cottages Terms and Conditions of use

​

The cottage is only suitable for six people plus one infant in a cot.

 

Prices are available on the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean website.

 

A 10% discount can be given if only two people are staying and using one bedroom.

 

A 20% deposit plus completion of a booking form (available on our web-site or from brown6@talktalk.net) is necessary to confirm a booking.

 

In the event of cancellation, this will not normally be refunded.

 

The balance will be payable 4 weeks before the visit.

 

Electricity is included and we normally also provide: bedlinen, tea towels, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, handwash, tea, coffee and sugar.

 

For weekly lets we are pleased to offer a welcome basket of local produce which normally includes bread, butter, cheese and milk.

We can provide towels for a small charge per person, if notified in advance.

 

We  have  items such as stair gates, a travel cot, raised toilet seat which we can provide if notified on booking form.

We do welcome dogs for a small extra charge but we ask that guests keep them downstairs, out of the downstairs bedroom and off the furniture.  Any mess in the garden must be cleared up.

 

Weekly bookings are usually from Saturday to Saturday and cottage is available from 3.00pm. We ask that guests leave by 10.30 on the day of departure.

 

There is a no-smoking policy in the house and garden.

 

The access lane is a forest track but there is easy parking outside the cottage.

 

We have two woodburning stoves and provide one basket of logs per visit in colder months. Use of the stoves is at your own risk.

 

Please report any breakages or damage so we can deal with it for the next visitors.
